HYDRO-CARBONS
Ethyanol Cracker Project (ECP) based in Singapore, Project Management activities in overseeing the US$2.5B EPCm and its Implementation Contractors. New build Ethanol cracker unit on adjacent site to an existing in Singapore
Contract Management and Administration as member of the JV on the US$ 5B Refinery extension on Jurong Island Singapore. Namely "brownfield" developement within an existing Petro-chem refinery facility, such as early and temporary works and tie-in's, with interfaces to the Integrated Refinery and Chemicals such as the Oxo-Alchol unit extension forming part of the Single Parallel Train project.
Brunei Darussalem Methanol Plant; Contractual advice to Brunei Government on all Commercial and Technical matters regarding Project Contract Management and Administration on the US$ 350M New Build methanol plant.
Commercial and Contractual activities on the Offshore modules for the Petro-Vietnam gas field for BP, with units built in Thailand and Vietnam and all associated commercial activities
POWER STATIONS
Combined Cycle Power Plant; Project Contract Management and Administration to Alstom Power Singapore on the US$ 350M new build 500MW CC duel fuel power plant located on Jurong Island Singapore for Keppel Merlimau Cogen
Combined Cycle Power Plant; Project Contract Management and Administration to Alstom Power Singapore on the US$ 500M Re-Powering of Senoko Power Station by the completion of Stage III of the Re-Powering exercise by increasing the capacity from 500MW to 800MW including demolition of existing coal fired system and installation of new CCPP comprising Gas Turbines, HRSG etc
Combined Cycle Power Plant:Project Contract Administration HK$450M New build 500MW CCPP in Hong Kong for China Light and Power;
Combined Cycle Power Plant; Project Contract Management and Administration to Siemens Westinghouse. US$ 200M New Build 400MW plant in Sayreville, New Jersey USA
PHARMACEUTICAL
Merck Sharp and Dhome flagship facility.Deputy Project Manager to Haden Young Clean Design.US$ 1B Complete refurbishment of existing plant, facilities, product lines, BMS systems whilst the existing facility continued to operate in the NE of England
Glaxo, Ware, Stevenage, Herts UK Project Manager including all related services US$4M Demolition and refurbishment of existing offices to facilitate “Clean Room” production for new CFC free gas nebulisers.
CIVIL ENGINEERING
Elevated Roadway around Hung Hom / Tsim Shai Tsui/ Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong.Project Control / Claims Management for all matters to the Client and contractors on the HK$ 800M; 13k long elevated roadway using match-cast balanced cantilever precast concrete sections on piled foundations.
Chek Lap Kok Airport Hong Kong, Project Control including Commercial and Contract Administration on the overall HK$64B project. Specific involvement with the construction of main taxiway / Northern runway, installation of runway lighting systems, access tunnels and associated roads, ancillary buildings; Fire Stations, Operations Centre, Simulation aircraft for fire training.
MRT (underground railway) Hong Kong Project Control / Claims Management, to Nishimatsu Construction on the HK$ 500M Quarry Bay and North Point station upgrading including congestion relief tunnels as part of East Rail development.
Royal Bayan Palace Refurbishment for the Emir of Kuwait US$ 500M Complete refurbishment of the Royal Palace post Gulf War
MINING
Construction of a mining facility in Malaysia for an Australian Client US$230M New build facility in Kuantan East Malaysia
OTHER PROJECTS
Legal Work with Solicitors in Arbitration and the like in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. On various projects, i.e Power stations, Petrochem plants, Hotels, shopping malls, residential, commercial / retail buildings.
General Advice on all commercial and contractual aspects to a number of local contractors on retainer / fixed fee basis.
